Psychological Research and Intervention Onward (PRIO) focuses its activities in one of the four thematic areas of CREA i.e., mental health. PRIO is comprised of a group of Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist who started this unit after a series of discussions, workshops and plenary where past present and future of mental health situation of the country, its knowledge base, human resource and service gaps were studied and appraised. The core goal of this unit is to promote psychological health and prevention and treatment of psychological illnesses with three specific objectives, which are-

1. To promote proper understanding of health concept among general population.
2. To create enabling environment to access psychological services.
3. To influence the implementation and revision of mental health policy.
