CREA in October 2018 launched a fully-fledged Psychiatric Clinic in the top floor of its head office in Adabor, Dhaka that since has been complementing the clinical assistance offered by its PRIO psychotherapy and counseling unit in a very promising way.

Housed in a completely separate and air-conditioned fourth-floor space, the clinic is manned 24/7 by medical officers, nurses, and ward assistants trained and experienced in psychiatry. This round-the-clock clinical team is supervised by a pool of the country’s leading consultant psychiatrists headed by Prof Dr. Md. Ahsanul Habib, MBBS, FCPS, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Anwer Khan Modern Medical College, Dhaka, and former Director, Mental Hospital, Pabna.

Besides treatment, CREA Psychiatric Clinic also provides standard hospitality and personal services to its clients, such as the scope to choose from cabins or wards for accommodation, laundry service, hygienic and balanced diet, recreational facilities like TV, music, games, books, magazines, etc, 24-hour power generator back-up, and blanket security. The clients are also encouraged to do free-hand and aerobic exercise led by a trainer to keep physically feet and join in relaxation and mindful meditation sessions to attain and sustain mental peace. If recommended by the clinicians concerned, the clients also receive additional therapies like occupational therapy, community therapy, physiotherapy, etc.
